Hey Pedrofest is coming up the end of the month. July 28-30. Skills park, dj's, parties, skill clinics, XC rides blah, blah, blah. Jiminy Peak is the DH venue. Great Mt, lots of fun.

I'm heading up this sat July 8th. Big party afterwards too. Shuttle style Downhill racing and freeride, Claremont NH at the Arrowhead Ski area. Come up and hang. This is a layed back event with fun in mind.

Sinister will be putting on another jump jam, August 5th at Whaleback in Lebanon/Enfield NH. The event is called "Rock the Whale" with 11 bands and expected attendance of 800-1,000 people. Sinister will have some jump demos going on with factory riders representin'. So far looks like Sasha Yakovleff, Clint McHahon, Derek Stevens and Dane Berk will be ripping it up! stay tuned for more info.

West Hill Bike in Putney VT is having a Party/BBQ/ride/Dirtjump/Bike demo on 8/10 from 5-8pm. They just did the shop over and the place rocks. Bring your trail bike to if you want to rip some sweet single track right in back of the shop.

Uh, so how was Pedros? I went last year, but not this year.

Good question about Pedros. I myself did not go this year, but have not heard anything about it.

I only remember a few people saying it did not rain this year.

Anyone have the 411?

The Vermont Mountain Bike Association are hosting the '2008 Mountain Bike Summit' in Stowe, VT, from May 7-9. This is a thee day training program for resorts to share their experiences and learn the best practice methods for resort based riding. Workshops will be presented by IMBA and Kona Bike Parks. We have just added Gravity Logic from Whistler, B.C. to our list of workshop presenters, which is a huge addition to the event! You can link to the registration page at www.vmba.org. Thanks, Patrick
